Rosy cheeks

I went out to buy some meringues for Good Friday lunch and the cold slapped my cheeks a few times.  I got home to find my face in full English bloom.

I call this one 'self portrait with smeary mirror and cupboard of clothes.' Wearing the lovely drapy Bernhard Willhelm dress which I will smother under a navy wool coat today. The cold is biting my fingers, my ears. Time to accept that I am a fashion cliché and pull out my black knitted beanie to protect against the particular kind of howling earache provoked by 7degree days.
