april thirteenth.

I want to dress like this tomorrow but I don't have a flirty leather-feather number. Looks like it's back to the asos tulle and polyblend skirt with my scissors.
(hashtag: when 'make do and mend' becomes 'make do and alter without hemming so the skirt frays to nothingness but you're convinced you look bitchin'.')
LOOK OUT FOR ME TOMORROW, WORLD!

  1. Moo! Mooooooo! ;)

I'm afraid of DIY projects (unless they're sewing patterns, of course, where everything is basically new). I rarely buy clothes, so I kind of hoard them, convinced they will one day become useful again (even though there is absolutely no way I'm going to wear that shapeless black cord jacket, ever again).

  2. do a wardrobe cull! it's not worth keeping the hulking never-wears in your wardrobe, they are just depressing. Or sell them on eBay and use the money to buy something you do like and/or need and/or don't need. Like a black leather knapsack or lace gloves.
